Since 2004 Excel has been a non-competitive Performing Arts studio located in the Kalamazoo/Portage, Michigan area (Texas Corners).

Excel offers a renovated 7,000 square foot facility with four large studios equipped with state of the art sprung wood floors and convenient viewing windows. Students love taking a break, grabbing a snack, or just hanging out in our lounge area.

With experienced, youthful instructors, Excel prides itself in not only helping your dancer grow in technique, but also as a self-confident, compassionate and responsible student in a fun and safe environment. Our teachers continue their commitment to the studio and our dancers by attending regional and national dance conventions to bring fresh and exciting material to all of our students – ages two through adult.

Excel offers a wide variety of classes including; Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Gym, Musical Theatre, Performance Teams and Zumba. All classes, music, costuming etc., are age-appropriate and focus on student growth and development of skill in a bright, fun and family-friendly environment!
